Men Get Abused too

Male DV

While the majority of domestic violence victims are women, abuse of men happens far more often than you probably realise, approximately 35 out of 100 victims of Domestic Abuse are Male. Typically, men are physically stronger than women but that doesn’t necessarily stop it from happening or make it easier to escape the violence or the relationship. An abused man faces a shortage of resources, Disbelief from his friends and family, skepticism from police, and major legal obstacles, especially when it comes to gaining custody of his children from an abusive mother. No matter your age, occupation, or sexual orientation, you can overcome these challenges and escape the abuse. There are People that can help you.

However We at HOPE are not actually able to assist men but here are some organisations that can help you and links to their websites.
